I recently discovered haiku. My passion is nature photography. This site is an attempt to combine the two. I thought combining was a novel idea, but it’s not new (Google). To a haiku purist it may be a bad idea - in my understanding the haiku provides words and the reader provides a mental image. Nevertheless, onward....
I'll begin by using existing haiku & experiment with the haiku<<>>photo concept. I’ll use a haiku whose words describe a personal experience, and provide my image that matches the experience. After some haiku writing experience, I’ll switch to my own haiku. (For better or worse I used my own on day #6.)
